We believe in function, style, and environmental responsibility—all are equally important. Useless, clunky (or downright ugly) products are ultimately environmentally irresponsible.
We believe color is important. Brown—or various shades of it—shouldn’t necessarily be the earth-friendly color of choice. Pink and orange are nice, too!
We believe environmentally friendly products shouldn’t be prohibitively expensive, and we will strive to provide many choices.
We believe products made locally, using recycled, organic, or sustainably produced materials that are produced by people in our community are the earth-friendliest of them all.
We believe earth-friendly wedding registries should be available for all who choose to marry—and everyone should have that right.
We believe that sometimes not buying may be the best choice environmentally.
We believe incremental steps are important and very few choices are 100% green.
Jimmy Carter was right—wear a sweater and turn down the thermostat.
We believe relationships are important. After 12 years, we know—and genuinely like—many of our suppliers.
We believe environmental responsibility builds bridges and fosters an understanding and appreciation for other cultures.
We believe recycled products for your home don’t have to resemble your great-grandmother’s craft project – although we do like crocheted toilet paper covers…
Face it, some recycled products are ugly and shouldn’t be found in any home!
