Home & Planet Gallery

The Home & Planet gallery is a delightful light-filled space at the rear of our store. Every month we feature the work of a new artist. Past shows have featured painters, sculptors, photographers, furniture designers, as well as a wide variety of non-traditional new artists including, tattoo artists, skateboarders, graffiti artists, lighting designers and students. Openings take place the First Friday of every month, and the shows continue through the month. Take a look at the Gallery Calendar to see upcoming artists and events. Home & Planet presents Selections by Ramon Peralta

Ramon Peralta, a native of the Dominican Republic, studied drawing at the Escuela de Bellas Artes in Santiago and with Peter Cox at the Arts Students League in New York City (where he emigrated in 1987). Since 2006, he has lived in center city Allentown. Peralta's themes include spirituality, dignity and wisdom of the elderly, daily life and history of the Dominican Republic, and the immigrant's dream for a bright future in the United States.

Show opens First Friday January 8th from 7 to 10pm and runs through January 31st.

Home & Planet presents Gatski Metal

Ben and Kate Gatski possess an uncommon vision--to honor agriculture through art. They established Gatski Metal to design and fabricate unique metal works for indoor and outdoor spaces. They collect parts from farms and farm machinery dealers across Pennsylvania.

Show opens First Friday February 5th from 7 to 10pm and runs through February 28th.
