Mythos, Elementals And Sylphs

Sylphs are mythological creatures in the Western tradition, invisible beings of the air, and the elementals of air. De Long explores shared elements, characters, settings and themes in his most recent creations. In traditional cultures, air is often seen as a universal power or pure subatance. In mysticism, magic and alchemy, an elemental is a creature, usually a spirit, that is attuned with, or composed of, one of the classical elements: Air, Earth, Fire and Water.
